The exotic Red Sea

I made it to Egypt !!!

I took a trip in august 2009, so I arrived in Hurghada late in the afternoon and my first expression ??? Incredibly hot. That was my first experience with the climate like that. I didn't know if I liked it or not. I got through the customs easily enough, they are always very happy to see blonde girls. There was a tour guide lady from Czech Republic waiting for me so I was really happy to see her :) We got in to our bus and driver started driving. It was a craziest drive in my life... Traffic in Hurghada was just insane, everybody was just beeping their horns, there wasn't many traffic lights and if there were any driver just simply ignored them :)  So it was a bit scary. We got to the place we were staying but I couldn't get to my room for like the next three hours. I was very tired and sick from the drive, but very happy that I safely arrived!

First thing in the morning I saw this!

The beautiful Red Sea. Those stunning colours, I thought I was in heaven. I have never ridden a Camel before, but I so wanted to do it. The view from the top was amazing. And it cost me only few dollars :)

Where the desert meets the ocean. Beautiful coastline with the mountains in the background.

I took a fantastic snorkeling trip with the relaxing break on the desert Island called Giftun.
We were snorkeling on the different spots full of coral and colourful fish.
The Red Sea is home to more than 1000 species of fish and spectacular coral reefs!!

Crystal clear water.
Unfortunately I didn't have a waterproof camera so I couldn't take any pictures of the amazing, spectacular marine world.
But I got to swim among brightly coloured fish which is one of my nicest memories from traveling.

Not sure what it means, but I'm sure it was flattering...
This is one of my memories from the Red Sea as well :)
Some advice. Do not go too close to the corals :)

Beautiful exotic sea, great relaxations, awesome place for a holiday...
The Red sea left unforgettable memories.
But this is not all that Egypt is about...

                                                            To be continued ...
