Dreams are slightly coming true ...

So, after a month spent at home in Slovakia we headed south for Italy. Our first place to visit was Rome.
Nathan has been to Rome before, for me it was a first time. I was very excited.

On the very top of my list to see was Trevi Fountain. Why ???
Because of this photo of Claudia Schiffer in Trevi  I had seen in one of my Mum's magazines when I was little.
I adored that photo since 1995.

And here she is.

Nothing as glamorous as the photo on the left
but managed to snap a quick shot, just.

Fontana di Trevi is the most famous fountain in Rome.
Her stunning beauty took my breathe away. It's the most beautiful fountain I have ever seen
and the biggest one.
The Trevi appeared in so many movies like Roman Holiday, When in Rome,
La dolce vita and Three Coins in the Fountain which is based on the tradition of throwing coins into the Trevi. The legend says that if you throw a coin over your shoulder you will come back to Rome.
If you throw a second coin you get some romance and the third coin will get you marriage.
I could see people throwing coins. I did the same :)
I threw one coin, because I would love to go back and because I already had my romance.
And the good thing about this is, that coins are collected every night for charity. Almost 4000 euros a day!!

And this is my romance. One day we will go back there.

By night or by day, you could stand there for hours and just enjoy the amazing view.
I remember how hard  was to take a proper photo.
There was so many people around.
It's very busy during the day,
so it's worth to go for wonder in the night.

So this is one of my many dreams that have come true.
